Fuel Cell Demonstrations at Westminster

4-6 October 2005

The following exhibits will be lined-up outside the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre during the Ninth Grove Fuel Cell Conference & Exhibition.

Delegates and visitors to the Grove Symposium are invited to take a ride on the fuel cell powered bus as it tours around landmark sites of London (4-5 October 2005). In a 30 minute tour the bus will follow the following route from the QE II Centre.

Broad Sanctuary > Parliament Square > Parliament Street > Whitehall > Horse Guards Avenue > Victoria Embankment > Northumberland Avenue > Great Scotland Yard > Whitehall > Cockspur Street > Pall Mall > Lower Regent Street > Piccadilly bus lane > Piccadilly > Hyde Park Corner > Grosvenor Place > Lower Grosvenor Place > Bressenden Place > Victoria Street > Storey's Gate > QE II Centre.

The tours will pass the following London landmarks:
Westminster Abbey, The Cenotaph, Downing Street, new Women at War memorial, Horse Guards, Ministry of Defence, London Eye, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, Charing Cross Charles II statue (where all distances from London are measured), Piccadilly Circus, The Ritz, Green Park, Hyde Park Corner (new Australian memorial), rear of Buckingham Palace, Westminster Cathedral, Westminster City Hall, Windsor House, New Scotland Yard, Department of Trade & Industry.

Bus trips will depart at the following times:

Tuesday 4 October 2005
10.40, 13.15, 14.30, 16.15

Wednesday 5 October 2005
10.25, 12.10, 14.15, 15.30

Thursday 6 October 2005
Demonstrations will be given by the F-Cell A Class Mercedes and Microcab Taxi. Tours will depart at the following times:

10.30, 11.30, 14.30, 15.30
