Haruhiko Ando is the Director of Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Promotion Office, Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE), Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). He is concurrently holds the Director of New and Renewable Energy Division in METI. He is also a Visiting Professor of Kyoto University and the University of Electro-Communications. He received his Bachelor of Law from the University of Tokyo in 1985 and then joined the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (Currently METI).
