Fumio Ueno, born in Tokyo 1955.
He got doctor's degree at department of chemistry, faculty of science, Tohoku University in 1983. His specialty is solid-state chemistry.He had been a guest scientist at Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Research, Stuttgart Germany from 1983 to 1985.
He joined Toshiba Corporation in 1985. From 1985 to 2000, he had been a researcher & a R&D manager at Corporate Research and Development Center.
He became Technology Executive at Display Devices & Components Company in Toshiba Corporation, where he is responsible for development & quality of rechargeable batteries and micro-fuel cell.
