Brett D. Williams
MPhil (cantab), PhD

Brett received his PhD in Transportation Technology & Policy at UC Davis. While at UCD, Brett has been a U.S. DOE and Eno fellow, taught graduate courses, completed a Business Development certificate program, chaired a fuel-cell conference, and worked for Ford at the California Fuel Cell Partnership.

Previously, Brett was the principal hydrogen and fuel-cell analyst at RMI, where he: helped spin off Hypercar, Inc. (now FiberForge); consulted for automotive, electronics, and energy firms (including the founders of Shell Hydrogen); and was a member of the U.S. delegation to the 1999 G8 Environmental Futures Summit.

Brett received an MPhil in 1995 from Cambridge University with a First-equivalent thesis comparing hydrogen- and petroleum-based transportation, and a BA in 1994 from Pomona College in physics/public policy analysis (thesis with distinction).
