Yutaka Yamada

Tokyo Gas
Yutaka Yamada received a Master’s degree for mechanical engineering
from the University of Tokyo in 1995. He started his career in Tokyo Gas
at development of cooking appliances. Then He spent 2 years studying "hazard
risk assessment" at Royal Dutch Shell in Chester, UK. After that,
he went back to Tokyo Gas to join his current workplace, the PEFC project
group, where the world’s first residential stationary fuel cell
CHP systems were developed.
At present, he is a project leader in charge of development and evaluation
of one model of the systems. He specialises in system designing of whole
FC systems as well as gas burners & combustion.
